PUNCH PRESS (2)
Casey sells various types of presses. Presses are rated in tons and are generally classified by type or function, such as punch press or an OBI (open back inclined) press. Some presses have single cast housing as the main frame while others may use three or four posts to connect the top and bottom press sections together. Presses can be either driven by hydraulic or mechanical action. Presses are used in a variety of applications including machine shops, automotive stamping plants and aluminum shape manufacturing. Other heavier duty presses may be used in foundries as forging presses. Forging presses use handling machines called manipulators that rotate and handle the heavy forged pieces. A gag press uses force to bend or straightener round and square bar. Contact Casey Equipment for a quote on used presses for sale.
