A motor control center consists of one or more enclosed vertical metal cabinet sections in an assembly having common power and provision for plug-in mounting of individual motor controllers. Each motor controller usually contains a contactor, overload relays to protect the motor, fuses or a circuit breaker to provide short-circuit protection, and a disconnecting switch to isolate the motor circuit. Casey stocks 220/440 volt motor control centers manufactured by Allen Bradley, Furnas, Siemens, Square D and Westinghouse.
