Pressure switches are designed to carry high current. Pringle switches are good up to 6000 amps. They are powered diconnects but work like fused circuit breakers. Either 3 pole or AC amps or 2 pole for DC amps. Their efficiency is similar to buss bar. They are non-magnetic, manually operated, easy to open and close, have high interruption capacity. 200 K AIC when used with class L fuses. They can be fed from the top or bottom. UL 977 listed, 100% rated. They have different features: QA = Quick Action, CBC = Charge Before Close and FP = Fault Protector
