CASEY Equipment Corporation Named Finalist For Ernst & Young Entrepreneur The Year® 2004 Award

Carrie Casey of Casey Equipment Corporation was named a finalist by professional services firm Ernst & Young LLP for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2004 Awards in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Casey was selected from numerous nominations in Pittsburgh by a panel of judges comprised of local community and business leaders. Finalists will be selected to various award categories announced at an awards banquet on June 25, 2004 at the Westin Convention Center Hotel in Pittsburgh.
Carrie Casey became President of Casey Equipment in 1998. Carrie is the second generation in the family owned business. Her father, Don Casey, started the business in 1961. Carrie is a graduate of the University of Richmond Virginia where she earned her bachelor degree in business. Casey Equipment Corporation is a world-leading provider of used and refurbished steel mill equipment. Casey has been awarded the "Exclusive Sales Agent" for many steel companies within the United States that want to sell their surplus equipment.
